That Time I Decided To Bake A Pizza Sized Cookie

A few weekends ago, my boyfriend and I decided to make the pizza-sized cookie. This was either one of the best ideas we've ever had or one of the worst. We had a really fun time baking together and the cookie was really scrumptious. That said, it was very filling and after getting hyped up on sugar, the both of us came down with the "itis." So much cookie! In total, our pizza sized cookie --- filled with chocolate chips, dark chocolate M&Ms, and twix --- was 14 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick! Yep, it was a massive cookie.

This is a great family activity or couples activity! The cookie came out absolutely delicious and baked to perfection! I definitely look forward to baking this again, but perhaps for a bigger crowd.

Ingredients:
- 14 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temp
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cup flour + 2 tbsp
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups chopped halloween candy
(We used Ghiradelli chocolate chips, dark chocolate M&Ms, and bite sized twix)

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease (or PAM) a 14 in pizza baking pan. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl beat butter until creamy. Add sugars to the butter and mix until fluffy. Next, add the eggs and mixx until all ingredients are well combined. Be sure to scrape the sides of the bowl.

3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

4. Next, add the halloween candy to the mixture. Make sure everything is combined.

5. Press the cookie dough evenly onto your prepared pan. If you want, sprinkle the cookie with extra candy, if you have it. (We added some more chocolate chips).
6. Bake your cookie for about 25 minutes or until the cookie is golden brown.

7. Once your cookie is baked, remove from oven and allow it to cool.
Once your cookie is cooled, dig in and enjoy!
